Channel Sales Associate

As the industry leader in mobile app development and management for schools and school districts, we are building a dedicated team focused on expanding partnerships in the education market space and beyond. SchoolInfoApp is searching for a Channel Sales Associate to facilitate meetings and awareness of our product suite to potential partners, as well as, support established partners as we grow our businesses together. The ideal candidate will join an expanding business development team responsible for evangelizing the company’s product to potential partners and their clients.

Our offices are in the heart of Silicon Bayou in Ruston, La., but if you are a creative, motivated, self-starter who can communicate well and work virtually, we are happy for you to make things happen from wherever in the United States you are.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Build and cultivate relationships from discovery through initial and follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Perform research on potential business partners as part of lead generation and qualification activities
  • Conduct outbound calls daily from a blend of inbound leads and self-prospecting
  • Engage and excite potential partners via phone, email and virtual meetings
  • Articulate the value of partnering with SchoolInfoApp while gathering insight about the goals and needs of the prospective partner
  • Assist established partners with a blend of training, regular follow-up, and general sales support including participating in and, as needed, leading demo presentations with their prospects and clients
  • Achieve monthly lead generation, activity and new business targets
  • Work collaboratively with Business Development, Marketing and Leadership
  • Document all activity and maintain complete, accurate records in our CRM

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience telemarketing and/or inside sales experience
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to drive sales and excellent customer service
  • Experience using a CRM system such as Hubspot to document, track and direct daily activities
  • Energetic, goal-oriented, self-starter who thrives in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, allocate and track time across a large set of targets
  • HS Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
