To learn more, visit wearedream.org.The Campaigns & Events Communications Manager will report to the Managing Director of Communications & Brand and serve as a member of DREAM's Communications & Brand team. This individual will lean on creative planning, project management, and collaboration skills to develop and execute communications strategies for external and internal stakeholders.Role and Responsibilities:
  • Working with colleagues throughout the organization, lead the planning and project management of digital communication campaigns that build brand awareness for DREAM and support fundraising goals;
  • In close partnership with the Special Events Team, develop communication strategies tied to special events (major fundraisers, community events, graduation) in order to mobilize DREAM supporters;
  • Prepare pre and post campaign/event donor communications, including solicitation letters, thank you correspondences, and stewardship touchpoints;
  • Prepare and present post-campaign performance reports, including actionable insights for the future;
  • Manage the creation of event marketing materials, including event branding, invitations, and signage;
  • Support the Sr. Coordinator of Audience Engagement's social media efforts by planning and creating social content around campaigns and events, specifically;
  • Support the Director of Corporate Partnerships with the fulfillment of marketing benefits for corporate sponsors;
  • Partner with the Managing Director of Communications & Brand to support internal culture and employee engagement efforts, including planning and speaker prep for key internal events such as the All-Staff Retreat;
  • Support other Communications & Brand team projects, as needed
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience;
  • Superior writing and editing skills with keen attention to detail;
  • A demonstrated track record of success in managing campaign communications; exposure to branded experiences, events, and/or fundraising a plus;
  • Understanding of and appreciation for quality, accuracy, and visual/aesthetic details;
  • Familiarity with collaborative, marketing, and design platforms such as Google Suite, Wordpress, Photoshop, and InDesign preferred;
  • Strong interpersonal skills to ably serve as a DREAM ambassador internally and externally;
  • Dependability and excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities at once, change direction as needed, and thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • A team player mindset is a must.
