Business Development Representative

KickUp, Inc. - Remote - Full time

We are on a mission to drive educator professional growth using data, and we are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our rapidly growing team.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at KickUp, you play a vital role in accelerating the growth of KickUp’s revenue and impact. Your core focus is on building connections with school district leaders, uncovering opportunities to solve their pain points, and acting as the first voice a leader hears in the process of discovering KickUp’s brand and value. Learning and collaboration are naturally built into this role, as you work alongside a team of Account Executives towards shared and individual goals.

About the Role

In the Business Development role, you would:

  • Connect with high level stakeholders within a school district to discuss their needs for improving educator professional learning and professional growth
  • Strategize with Account Executives on territory campaign approach, messaging, and timing
  • Compile research on prospects, building lead lists for sales team prospecting
  • Schedule discovery calls and demos for our team of Account Executives
  • Become an expert on sales development platforms (Salesloft, Salesforce) to execute and document the outreach process consisting of phone, email, and social touches
  • Track and meet ambitious lead/demos goals every month
  • Continuously improve your sales development process and demonstrate a willingness to learn and implement best practices
  • Represent and demonstrate our company values, brand, and mission

Position Details:

This is a full-time position. While we are located in Philadelphia, this job can be done remotely as we have a remote-first culture. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

This position involves both base and variable compensation with on target earnings ranging between $50,000 and $65,000, with no cap on commissions and rapid growth potential.
