Job Summary

We are looking for motivated outside sales professionals eager to seek out early adopters and innovative thinkers to shape the future of extended day programs in K-8 school districts through partnerships with Champions, our nationally accredited before and after school, summer and break time program. Territory opportunities exist in California, the Pacific Northwest, the Four Corners (AZ, CO, NM, UT) and Texas.

Key responsibilities include:

Develop and implement short and long term strategic sales, marketing and reliable forecasting plans that work in support of meeting or exceeding stated corporate goals

Develop new partnerships & contracts with K-8 school districts and Charter school networks to provide Champions’ Before and After School, summer, and break-time programs.

Establish strong district relationships to create profitable and sustainable partnerships

Enhance and build upon existing relationships with current Champions partners to expand our footprint into the surrounding schools and districts

Generate sales leads

Timely follow-up of marketing generated sales leads with a high conversion rate to revenue generating opportunities

Attend key conferences and other networking opportunities as a company advocate and champion of the brand; develop an array of revenue generating, mutually beneficial partnerships that Champions can leverage and utilize to accelerate growth.

Partner with Champions finance and operations teams to evaluate the potential and capacity for prospect schools and districts to effectively implement Champions programs

Negotiate contract terms that maximize Champions revenue and gross margin, minimize risk, and create the strongest possible partnership with districts

Prepare prospect-centric presentations and solution based proposals

Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to guarantee that Champions maintains a leading edge with regard to programs, pricing and services, acquiring client feedback towards informing existing programs and building new ones

Facilitate a seamless post-sale transition to the operations team in order to develop strong partnership and ensure flawless execution of contract terms

Utilize as the primary CRM system for tracking, analysis and control in driving opportunities through the sales funnel and generating new client growth

Travel up to 60%

Key desired skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, education or related field

3+ years of K-8 education sales experience preferred

Demonstrated ability to achieve quota

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Strong analytical skills

Ability to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences

Demonstrated skill in the development and implementation of successful sales plans and processes that result in rapid growth and increased market

Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate with and influence district decision makers

Strong goal orientation and natural inclination to accept accountability for delivering results; Collaborative and team oriented nature.

Experience with SalesForce preferred

Ability to work in a team setting

Willingness to travel
