Green Guardians is looking for a Business Development and Engagement Manager to join our team. This is a leadership position within a fast-paced growing startup that will lead all client facing communication for our business operations in California and the US.
What you'll do:
Coordinate, deliver and track usage of our environmental literacy products and services to achieve growth goals
Effectively communicate key product features and benefits to prospective customers and partners both virtually and in-person. Promote Green Guardians at educational technology conferences nationwide
Drive new user growth across key acquisition channels through marketing campaign creation, analysis and optimization of the full-funnel experience
Deliver sales presentations on environmental literacy products and services to high-level decision makers with the ability to persuade and close business
Develop strategy to independently manage all business, new and renewals
Write new content for distribution throughout various communications channels
Lead the growth of individuals and organizations that subscribe to our community platform and the resources we make available within the community
Build and grow an environmental literacy community of practice of educators, school leaders, teachers, experts and activists both through our community platform and other online platforms and through in-person events
Gather customer feedback to help improve and enhance product offerings
Maintain customer and partner information and track implementation activity using HubSpot
What you'll offer:
5+ years teaching and/or administrative experience, preferably in the education sector in California
Experience in the development and/or delivery of professional learning for K-12 educators
Excellent public speaker
The ability to foster enthusiasm, engage stakeholders, build relationships, and secure partnerships
Direct client experience in support of a customer facing function (marketing, professional learning, sales, etc.)
Strong data analysis skills. Experience with HubSpot marketing and sales tools would be tremendous
