Bilingual Technical Writer (Spanish-English)

The Bilingual Technical Writer will create end-user materials in both Spanish and English; provide copy editing and translation support for product content, pedagogical documents, and UIs; and proofread customer-facing materials. This individual reports to the Associate Director of Documentation.


  • Create, format, edit, and proofread InDesign documents, RoboHelp projects, GoogleDocs, and materials in other content management systems, promoting clarity, accuracy, and Amplify style.
  • Create and edit supporting graphics and videos using Adobe Photoshop and Captivate.
  • Work with product teams to gather relevant information, communicate project status, ensure completion of projects, and align deployment to software releases.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years' experience developing end-user documentation
  • Native or bilingual (Federal ILR Level 5) proficiency of the Spanish language, with a strong command of its nuanced rules in spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Full professional proficiency (Federal ILR Level 4) verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Professional experience with Adobe products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Native Spanish speaker
  • Knowledge of English and Spanish grammar and punctuation, and familiarity with common style guides and industry practices
  • Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with common CMS, including but not limited to Intercom and WordPress
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and RoboHelp
