Bids and Proposals Coordinator

The Bids and Proposals Coordinator supports the Bids team in the creation of sales proposals that describe our products and services. This includes researching and tracking opportunities, assembling/proofing proposal language and forms with inputs from multiple stakeholders, creation of tools for team management, leading the physical production and delivery of documents. The role involves extensive project and task management, as well as building an understanding of our products and the K-12 education market.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and track relevant bid opportunities
  • Review and summarize bid request documents (RFPs, RFQs etc.) to share pertinent information with the wider team
  • Coordinate schedules and approvals for actions supporting bid opportunities
  • Use problem solving skills to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in order to ensure timely completion of bids
  • Manage the printing and assembly of bids using office equipment
  • Manage the delivery process for bids
  • Work with Bids & Proposal Manager and/or Director to manage the entry and editing of boilerplate language and the integration of this boilerplate into draft documents (includes formatting and proofing)

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 1 - 2 years of work experience in a corporate environment
  • Problem solving skills and detail orientation
  • Technical savvy and experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Adobe Software
  • Experience editing and assembling text documents
