In this role, you will lead a team who design and implement solutions with custom features, security and support for clients and partner organizations -- all with Google's philosophy of innovation and ease of use in mind.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and build our North American sales teams, enabling them to effectively pitch and propose our Google for Education solution to schools and universities.
  • Define and execute on our regional and state-level engagement strategy, driving continued growth in close collaboration with our Marketing team.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships at national and state level, with large school districts across the US and Canada, and with our key distribution partners.
  • Collaborate with our Programs team to bring professional development and broad transformation management support to large scale implementations, ensuring they lead to successful educational outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Product and Solutions teams to define and commercialize our next generation of products and features, across devices (Chromebooks and tablets), GSuite (including Classroom), Google Cloud Platform and content.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in pitching and selling products to educational institutions and governments in international markets.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree.
  • 10 years of work experience, including 4 years of experience selling to educational institutions in an Internet, device manufacturer, or a PC original equipment manufacturing (OEM) company.
  • Experience leveraging channels for success.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams in a fast paced environment, with the ability to work on tight timescales.
  • Effective partnering and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive action in a highly matrixed and relationship based organization.
  • Ability to engage at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally. Effective verbal communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
