Associate Curriculum Designer - Math (Raleigh, NC)

IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 14 million students worldwide, is seeking an associate curriculum designer to join the math curriculum design team. In this role, you will work closely with experienced curriculum designers to bring our K–8 math content to life. Your strong organizational skills, creative problem solving, educational insights, and commitment to quality will make personalized learning a reality for millions of students.

This is a full-time position in our Raleigh, NC office with a hybrid work schedule.


  • Collaborate with experienced curriculum designers to create engaging math content
  • Oversee the development of math workbook pages, including writing problems and overseeing the visual designs
  • Write instructions for illustrators and graphic designers; as needed, iterate on their designs
  • Develop and manage small project plans
  • Ensure content meets stringent quality standards


  • BA/BS degree in math, math education, or a related field
  • Teaching or tutoring experience
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • A keen eye for clean visual design
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Google Drive and web applications
  • Interest or experience in graphic design is a plus
