Associate Account Manager (Remote, West)

About the Role:

The DreamBox Learning sales team seeks a high-energy, professional individual to join our growing organization as an Associate Account Manager in the West Coast Territory (PST, MST, CST). The Associate Account Manager will Renew current customer subscriptions and Expand the DreamBox Learning footprint within a specified customer base.

The individual in this role will be a team player with a penchant for seeking new experiences, knowledge, candid feedback, and openness to learning and change. This person will also show strong emotional intelligence in all interactions with prospects, customers, and colleagues and have the ability to embrace feedback and hold themselves accountable.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Building strong relationships with customers to maintain current business and identify opportunities for growth
  • Developing and delivering product presentations eloquently and succinctly to groups and decision-makers
  • Developing proposals, consulting on purchasing options, negotiating terms, and strategizing on solutions.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and drive expansion opportunities.
  • Accurately managing sales activities and forecasting through CRM (SFDC experience a +).
  • Working on a wide variety of tasks simultaneously, setting goals, and meeting deadlines.
  • Effectively communicating, problem-solving, and collaborating with internal departments
  • Approaching challenges and opportunities with a deep, critical thinking mindset.
  • Developing and executing the strategic sales plan to achieve the company's new business and expansion goals.

About You:

  • 2+ years in a consultative, inside sales/customer service position OR 3+ years as K-12 District Decision Maker (administrator/curriculum/etc)
  • Working experience in educational software and/or K-12 preferred; Math/Literacy curriculum, a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of skills, training, and experience
  • Ability to travel if needed, depending on the time of year and district needs
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Location: Although this is a remote role, this role is required to be located in the West Coast Territory (open to candidates in PST, MST, or CST).

Compensation and Benefits:

Expected base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $85,000USD per year based on several factors, including experience and geography. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus or sales commission bonus, depending on the role, and benefits that are designed to support you & your family. If you are hired at DreamBox Learning, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on considerations such as geographic location, skills, responsibilities of the role, education, and/or relevant experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the compensation of our current team members as a part of evaluating and extending any final offer.
