Associate Account Executive

KickUp is looking for an Associate Account Executive to join a team that is reimagining how school districts grow their most valuable asset: their people.

KickUp aims to empower educators by meaningfully engaging them in professional growth. About the role

As an Associate Account Executive at KickUp, you will:

  • Reach out to school district leaders engaging with KickUp’s content and event programming to schedule introductory meetings
  • Compile research on prospects, building lead lists for sales team prospecting
  • Create, run, and analyze cold outreach campaigns to engage new prospects in target territories
  • Collaborate with Account Executives on territory campaign strategy, messaging, and timing
  • Join Account Executives on discovery calls, demonstrations, and pricing calls to learn sales best practices
  • Lead discovery calls, demonstrations, and pricing calls after meeting success metrics
  • Attend conferences to network with school district leaders and acquire new sales leads
  • Maintain relationships with district leaders throughout their life cycle at KickUp to help drive renewals and expansions

As a good fit for this position, your experience might include:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a K-12 setting
  • A track record of setting and exceeding ambitious, measurable goals, whether in a classroom or organizational setting
  • Working on a highly collaborative, results-oriented team
  • Prior experience with selling or in a position of instructional leadership is not required, but is an added bonus!

Position details

This is a remote, full-time position that can be performed anywhere within the US.

U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Please note, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

This position involves both base and variable compensation. Base compensation for this position ranges between $60,000 and $70,000 based on experience, with on target earnings of $80,000-$90,000 with no cap on commissions.

We believe in the importance of recharging and offer a flexible PTO policy. Most of our employees average between 15-20 PTO days per year in addition to 11+ paid company holidays. Our team also enjoys Focus Fridays — a day without Slack or meetings, to provide flexibility and focus time.
