AP Subject Streamer

Fiveable - Remote - Part time

Fiveable is looking for teachers that want to become part of our streaming team to host cram live stream reviews in the spring. The goal of these streams is to help students review concepts and study in the weeks and days leading up to the AP exam in May. Cram streams are one hour long, with a five hour long finale the day before the exam (this can be split between teachers). This is a freelance, hourly position. We are searching for teachers who:

  • are comfortable with remote learning and video streaming
  • have experience teaching an AP subject
  • thrive on helping students learn and meet their goals
  • love to nerd out
  • are eager to join a fast-paced, constantly growing startup
  • align with how we teach and learn

You are:

  • Creative - You always find a way to get something done.
  • Passionate - You care deeply and pour yourself into what you do.
  • Efficient - You work smarter, not harder.
  • Candid - You communicate consistently and authentically.
  • Flexible - You go with the flow and find new paths to your goals.

Next steps:

To apply, you must submit the application along with a 5 minute video of you considering the following questions:

  1. What do you love about teaching your subject?
  2. What are some things you have done in your classroom that you would deem innovative?
  3. How have you adjusted your facilitation to meet the needs of the online space?
  4. Anything else you would like to share with us
