Our content team seeks additional authors for our AP® African American Studies team. We welcome experienced teachers to apply below to create fun, rigorous questions with in-depth explanations.

Motivate students everywhere to want to learn, support other teachers by sharing your expertise, and gain access to Albert and its data analytics for free in your own classroom!

Note: This is a part-time, remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Write practice questions aligned to the College Board’s AP® African American Studies Course Framework, according to assigned areas of need.
  • Design thorough, clear, accurate, and age-appropriate explanations that target potential student misconceptions.
  • Incorporate feedback from our in-house content team before publication.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching high school or college African American Studies
    • We're especially interested in applicants who have taught or are planning to teach the new AP® African American Studies course.
  • Strong written communication skills and comfort with technology.
  • Excellent time management skills and flexibility with change.
  • A positive attitude and a curiosity for learning!
