Analytics Engineer (Remote)

About the Role:

As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a key role in querying and analyzing student usage and learning data to provide key insights to internal and external stakeholders. In addition, you will drive efficiencies in delivering this data by identifying patterns in the requests, building associated data pipelines, and automating workflows. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a small, high-energy, rapidly growing Data and Analytics team at an exciting time in EdTech, influencing millions of students’ learning journeys.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Prioritize and answer ad hoc customer and business questions using data
  • Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, and other tools to support our stakeholders' needs
  • Define, analyze, and validate key metrics to inform decision-making and measure product success
  • Design data models and build out efficient ETL pipelines in support of those models
  • Communicate data, insights clearly, distilling complexity down to its essence
  • Collaborate cross-functionally; empower and guide others to work effectively and efficiently with data
  • Participate in Data Governance initiatives

About You:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • 3+ years of recent experience in data analytics, data engineering or analytics engineering or related field
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Expert knowledge of SQL and Tableau
  • Strong knowledge of Python, database structures and data warehouse technologies

Compensation and Benefits:

Expected base salary range for this position is $82,920 – $116,990USD annually based on several factors, including experience and geography. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus or sales commission bonus, depending on the role, and benefits that are designed to support you & your family. If you are hired at DreamBox Learning, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on considerations such as geographic location, skills, responsibilities of the role, education, and/or relevant experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the compensation of our current team members as a part of evaluating and extending any final offer.
