What You'll Be Doing:

  • Program Manager for one or more product development teams/value streams; Aligning the team(s) with organizational processes essential to execution and delivery: includes sprint and overall PI timelines, build and release management, etc.
  • Liaise between Product Management, Engineering, UX, and business stakeholders to review and plan an optimal portfolio of work that directly dictates execution roadmaps
  • Continually create and maintain alignment of business objectives against product roadmaps, product launches, and go-to-market activities
  • Organize and lead ongoing program planning and reporting to identify key risks, issues, dependencies, and progress across workstreams
  • Establish and continuously improve processes and practices for product execution
  • Proactively resolve and escalate impediments, remove roadblocks, manage risk, assure value delivery, and drive program-level continuous improvement
  • Understand the big picture and deep dive on details
  • Ensure product features are wholistic, high quality, and provide value to our students
  • Clearly communicate roadmaps, progress, and implementation plans
  • Key change agent and influencer and leads out improvements and innovations within the team and org
  • Facilitates collaborative discussions and conflict resolution.
  • Delivers initiatives within their team that support product delivery
  • Empowers teams to set clear deliverables and ensure that they can meet commitments and drive accountability within the team.
  • Provides a safe and trusting environment where problems can be raised without judgement and teams are encouraged to collaborate and solve problems together.
  • Provide education on the Agile discipline and enable teams to operate at optimal efficiency; using feedback and retrospectives to drive team improvements.
  • Manage external team dependencies and facilitate/participate in cross-team activities.

About You:

  • 5+ years of technology project management experience required
  • 2+ years of proven experience as a Program Manager and/or Scrum Master leading a software development team
  • Experience in SaaS platform and/or SaaS product engineering, preferred
  • Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe’s SPC, or PMI’s Agile Certified Professional (PMI-ACP) certification, preferred
  • Proficient with collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Aha!, Miro
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Creative in problem-solving
  • Experience managing large, complex projects with dependencies
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile delivery methods like Scrum and Kanban
  • Flexible, collaborative, and able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously to maintain teamwork and optimal project flow
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Natural approach toward data-driven decisions; Demonstrated ability to understand complex processes and data
  • Bias for action and comfortable jumping into urgent issues to help drive resolution
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities and solutions, collect data, and drive the team toward delivery
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Compensation and Benefits:

Expected base salary range for this position is $90,500 – $128,690 USD annually based on several factors, including experience and geography. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus or sales commission bonus, depending on the role, and benefits that are designed to support you & your family. If you are hired at DreamBox Learning, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on considerations such as geographic location, skills, responsibilities of the role, education, and/or relevant experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the compensation of our current team members as a part of evaluating and extending any final offer.
