We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team in the capacity of Advisors for our mental health-focused app designed for students and schools. In this advisory role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the development of our app by providing valuable insights, feedback, and recommendations from an educator's perspective. This position involves active participation in focus groups and the commitment to provide hourly feedback based on your expertise and experience in the education sector. Sisu currently recruiting the following groups in our advisory council: classroom teachers, principals, superintendents, and mental health providers (counselors or school-based service providers).Responsibilities:

1. Participate in Focus Groups: - Engage actively in scheduled focus group sessions to discuss and evaluate the features, content, and functionality of the mental health app. - Share your insights on how the app can effectively cater to the needs of students, considering the educational context.2. Provide Hourly Feedback: - Dedicate specified hours each week to explore the app thoroughly and offer detailed feedback on its usability, effectiveness, and educational value. - Identify areas of improvement and provide constructive suggestions for enhancing the app's impact on students' mental health.3. Collaborate with Product Development Team: - Work closely with our app development team to communicate feedback and contribute to the ongoing refinement of the app. - Bridge the gap between educational requirements and app features, ensuring alignment with the needs of both teachers and students.4. Stay Informed about Educational Trends: - Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the field of education, especially those related to mental health and well-being. - Integrate relevant insights into your feedback to ensure the app remains aligned with current educational practices.Qualifications:- Proven experience as an educator, administrator, or SBS provider preferably with a focus on mental health and well-being in a student context.- Strong communication skills to articulate feedback effectively.- Familiarity with technology and the ability to navigate digital platforms.- Passion for improving students' mental health through innovative solutions.
