Advertising Account Executive at Sandbox Learning

We are looking for an Advertising Account Executive to work within our growing Advertising team to manage and develop our advertising and partnerships, both of which are crucial to the success of our company.

This individual must demonstrate all the entrepreneurial characteristics associated with setting up and driving a new territory, specifically developing, and managing a pipeline of new business opportunities and delivering results against a quota.

We are seeking a self-driven candidate to identify and capitialize on endless opportunity. You will need to hit the ground running, identify, and contact prospects. The Advertising Account Executive position can be based out of our Boston hub or remote in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of Sandbox Learning products and how our advertising and sponsorship solutions address the business needs of the education industry
  • Become a proficient presenter of our advertising and sponsorship solutions and comfortably lead customer presentations via the web
  • Articulate clearly and powerfully the value of our advertising and sponsorship solutions, including positive points of differentiation and ways to overcome customer objections
  • As an Advertising Account Executive you will build relationships with new and targeted accounts
  • Develop a pipeline of quality business relationships and opportunities
  • Successfully secure new signed business and achieve sales quotas
  • Identify and qualify new sales leads, maintain a well-developed sales pipeline.
  • Maintain strong ongoing client relationships
  • Build and grow prospect relationships.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

3+ years of digital ad or media/branded content sales experience required. Must have an understanding of how digital advertising and sponsorship works.

Experience working with clients in the family/parenting, lifestyle, or education verticals is strongly desirable

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, able to clearly and effectively articulate Sandbox Learning’s value proposition

Superb interpersonal skills, including ability to quickly build rapport with prospects, leads, and clients.

Experience successfully winning deals involving multiple stakeholders and agendas

Highly motivated, positive can-do attitude with demonstrated capacity to meet and exceed quota

Ability to work in fast-moving environment, with effective time management, deal management, and problem-solving skills

Organized, detail-oriented individual with ability to work independently and as a team player

Proficient with Microsoft or Google office apps (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
