The Opportunity

As an Admissions Manager, you’ll use your combination of (consultative) sales and people skills to ensure that prospective Springboard students have a superb pre-enrollment experience, thereby generating more revenue for the company. You’ll have the unique opportunity to support students from around the world, helping them understand our courses and make better educational choices. You’ll also help shape the admissions programs for our career tracks, and work alongside our Student Advising team to ensure smooth transitions into enrollment.

Your typical day may include:

  • Working with team lead to design, evaluate, and implement tools/systems/processes (e.g., CRMs, email/chat services, workflows) that will help improve our admissions processes and scale our ability to support a growing volume of prospective students.
  • Supporting prospective students in their decision-making via email, chat and advising phone calls.
  • Driving students through the admissions pipeline by reviewing applications, conducting phone interviews, and supporting candidates at each stage of the process.
  • Planning and hosting live online info-sessions for prospective students to learn about Springboard.
  • Creating a better user experience for prospective applicants.
  • Maintaining a knowledge base / FAQ for prospective students.
  • Identifying opportunities and testing strategies to improve yield of high-quality candidates and the ultimate learning success of our student community - Springboard is a startup, and there are always more ideas than people to act on them. You’re highly encouraged to generate and share new ideas that could grow our enrollment numbers. If your ideas get traction, you’ll oversee their execution!

  • Understand funnels and are comfortable moving prospects through them.
  • Enjoy working with systems as well as with the humans they serve.
  • Are an excellent communicator (written and verbal) and a confident presenter.
  • Are great at advising people and helping them think through decisions.
  • Aim to adapt and evolve your role and responsibilities over time.
  • Are excited to collaborate with talented people to help build a one-of-a-kind educational institution.
  • Are eager to learn more about a new field (like digital marketing) so you can support our awesome students in deciding their right path

Bonus points if you have:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in admissions, sales, or support.
  • Experience using CRMs, such as Hubspot.
