Account Manager

UBTECH Robotics - Remote - Full time

UBTECH Education is seeking a Regional Account Manager with experience in the Ed Tech vertical for K12 to drive efforts to establish UBTECH Education as a leader in providing high-quality robotics STEM solutions and STEM+C instruction. This is a unique opportunity to join a startup team within a well-funded, larger organization, and to provide equitable access to high-quality robotics & engineering solutions to students across North America.

Responsibilities

- Work with the Director of Educational Partnerships to execute strategies aimed to generate new business through channel and direct sales. 

- Attain and surpass sales goals, with the proven ability to leverage existing relationships and develop new customer relationships to maintain and expand market penetration.

- Develop a proficient understanding of UBTECH products and priorities so you can confidently demonstrate our products and communicate our value proposition. 

- Partner with high-level school and district decision-makers.

- Create and manage pipelines, forecasts, and territories.

Use appropriate written and verbal communication skills internally and externally to facilitate the desired outcome. 

Experience

- 5+ years of field sales in a sales-driven, outcomes-oriented organization.

- 2+ years partnering with STEM leaders in K-12, and/or higher education.

- Demonstrated success networking with educators, influencing decision-makers, and consistently exceeding sales targets. 

- Track record of successful consulting or building regional partnerships is preferred.

- Consultative sales methodology to exceed expected results. 

Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

- Comfortable working in a results-oriented, entrepreneurial environment that requires flexibility and both synchronous and asynchronous collaboration.

- Reservoirs of empathy and enthusiasm for serving educators.

- Passion for diagnosing and solving school, district, and partner problems. 

- Desire to work for a startup environment in a highly independent manner and thrive under deadlines.

- Ability to prioritize tasks among an endless list of planning and execution-oriented activities.

- Exceptional planning, organizational, and follow-through skills.

- Excellent listening skills and verbal/written communication skills.

- Experience working with CRM systems, preferably Hubspot.

- Bachelor's degree required.
