About the Account Executive Role:

We’re looking for an Account Executive to help us keep up with and adapt to quickly growing demand.

As an Account Executive, you will own the close - holding the success and expansion of growth efforts. This role is responsible for qualifying, developing, and moving the highest value leads through our sales cycle. On any given day you’ll be holding demos, bringing decision-makers together, and negotiating prices to move deals forward. The Account Executive will also be responsible for building strategies and systems around the bottom of our funnel. You will be stepping into a company with a small and collaborative team seeing rapidly growing demand. If you thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, understand effective sales strategies, and can deeply connect with educators, this is an amazing opportunity.

You will be a good fit if you:

  • Are confident and capable of hitting quarterly quotas consistently
  • Are motivated by both driving revenue growth and building meaningful client relationships
  • Have a good working knowledge of K-12 buying processes and educator experiences
  • Have demonstrated persistence and resilience with follow-up when managing relationships
  • Intuitively implement sales processes to support scale and drive predictable revenue
  • Have a competitive nature and desire to get better every day
  • Are a creative and resourceful problem solver that thrives in a startup environment
  • Have 2-4 years of experience in selling a SaaS product with diverse sales cycles

Extra bonus if you have...:

  • Past experience specifically working in K-12 education technology and/or schools and districts
  • Proficiency in Hubspot or other equivalent sales/marketing software
  • Experience in the SEL, mental health, or student support spaces

Position Details:

This is a full-time position. While we are located in Oakland, California, this job can be done remotely as we have a remote-friendly culture. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Benefits & Compensation:

  • $124,000 OTE
  • $50,000-70,000 Base (dependant on experience)
  • 10% commission on sales deals; 15% commission on all deals sold above your personal quota; Commission is uncapped
