Account Executive

edVIZE - Remote - Part time


Utilizing various channels such as phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate leads and reach out to potential clients

Contacting school district administrators to schedule meetings and present the benefits of edVIZE tailored to their specific needs

Developing a deep understanding of customer needs and effectively communicating the value that edVIZE can bring to their district

Using HubSpot to track outreach and opportunities, and submit forecasts

Establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with outbound target accounts through phone, email, and in-person meetings

Managing a pipeline of inbound leads and engaging prospective customers with a consultative sales approach backed by expert knowledge of edVIZE's product

Setting your own key results to use as milestones towards the team revenue goal.

Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that generate leads and promote the edVIZE brand

Conducting market research and staying up-to-date with industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth

Attending industry events and conferences to network and represent edVIZE

Providing input to the product development team based on customer feedback and market research

Working closely with the customer success team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new customers and to address any customer issues that arise

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activities in the company's CRM system

Meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the company.


Prior classroom and/or school/district administrator experience, which is highly preferred

1-2 years of experience in a partner or customer-facing role, ideally at a K-12 curriculum or edtech company, which is highly preferred

Understanding of how school districts operate and the people who work in them

Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

Strong active listening skills and a dedication to fully understanding and addressing customer needs, as well as the underlying vision or concerns

A highly relational and persistent nature, with a willingness to stay engaged with prospects

Demonstrated ability to stay organized and track progress using appropriate tools and methods

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment

A willingness to be creative, unconventional, and scrappy when necessary

A passion for edVIZE's mission to bring inquiry-based learning to every student.

Knowledge of K-12 education standards and best practices, as well as the competitive landscape of the edtech industry

Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue targets

Familiarity with sales methodologies such as consultative selling, value-based selling, or solution selling

Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to close deals and resolve customer issues

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot to manage leads and track sales activities

Familiarity with video conferencing tools such as Zoom or Google Meet for remote meetings and presentations

A growth mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and opportunities as the company evolves.
