Founded in 2001 and based in Orlando and Lakeland, Florida, Digarc’s Acalog and Curriculog software set the standard for ease of use and robust functionality with world-class support.

Digarc has been growing steadily at double digit growth annually and now serves over 550 higher education institutions across all categories, including two-year, four-year, public, private and for-profit. Digarc offers two highly configurable, cloud-based, single-instance multi-tenant products which have a 95+% client retention rate and 70+ NPS. Digarc is twice the size of its next largest competitor and enjoys win rates of greater than three times that of its competitors. 70% of the addressable market is still greenfield.

Revenues have grown 50% in the last three years and the team will have grown from 55 employees to over 105 by the end of 2018. This growth trajectory is expected to accelerate with 2018 revenues topping 40% growth. San Francisco-based Serent Capital completed the growth capital investment in October, 2016.


The core mission of the Account Executive – Small College sector is to maximize Digarc’s reputation and revenue within this educational segment of the market. Responsible for building and executing on a plan that integrates both market opportunity and competitive threats; the successful contributor in this role will build and grow trusted relationships with customers and internal staff to support Company goals. Effectively build a pipeline of $5M+ in sales opportunities and close on at least $1.5M in new sales on an annual basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and secure initial discussions with new accounts.
  • Follow up on leads generated through Company marketing activities
  • Qualify opportunities and build sales pipeline
  • Present and demonstrate strategic solutions to potential clients in a knowledgeable and compelling way
  • Stay up-to-date on product capabilities, enhancements and road maps
  • Participate in marketing and conference planning activities
  • Communicate with product team on prospect/market needs and trends in territory
  • Update and maintain accuracy of Salesforce information

  • Strong computer literacy, including Salesforce and MS Office Suite

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline desired.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven relationship-based, consultative software sales, preferably experience in higher education technology, with strong record of success in exceeding quota
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Educational Software
