Academic Success Specialist

Odigia - Winston-Salem, North Carolina - Full time

As an Academic Success Specialist you will play a critical and multifaceted role growing Odigia’s presence, as well as providing ongoing support to our existing and future partners. This role requires a strong commitment to the instructors and students we serve, and represents Odigia’s first line of instructor communications, outreach, and support. The key to success is your ability to build strong and collegial relationships by serving as a reliable and trusted resource for supporting institutional and/or individual learning initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Foster strong relationships with current and prospective clients
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Odigia’s platform and be able to accurately explain functionality as well as value proposition to various stakeholders
  • Conduct demonstrations of Odigia for potential partners
  • Work collaboratively with the Odigia team, contributing as needed to sales, marketing, and product development operations
  • Proactively identify and address opportunities to scale existing partnerships, as well as potential at-risk accounts

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 3-5+ years of successful sales/business development or professional education experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Google Apps such as Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Docs
  • Ability to solve problems, think critically and strategically, and work independently
  • Motivation and drive to be successful in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel (~25%)
