Curator Intern

OpenEd - San Jose, CA - Full time


One of the primary responsibilities of an OpenEd curator is to make accurate alignments of all its resources to the relevant national and state standards. These alignments then drive the critical cycle of instruction, assessment, and evaluation. You will contribute key work in curating resources across all subject areas, entering digital assets on the OpenEd site, and assisting with quality assurance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Validate machine-learning-associated resources to be correctly aligned to standards
  • Identify unexpected behaviors on the website and work towards solution
  • Collaborate as needed in a fast-paced agile environment
  • This job is performance-based; once a specific number of tasks to be defined during the interview process have been completed, employment ends.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years multi-subject teaching or tutoring experience preferred; student teachers also highly preferable
  • Understand the uses and requirements
  • Familiarity with and/or ability to learn website technologies and digital tools
  • Dedicated work ethic and capacity to perform independently
