We are currently seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to drive marketing programs across our expanding portfolio.

The Product Marketing Manager is a critical member of the Lexia team, reporting to the Senior Director of Product Strategy. Working collaboratively with fellow marketing team members, as well as colleagues in Product Management, Education and Research, Sales, Customer Support, and Technology/Product Development, the Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for providing marketing support through all stages of product lifecycles. In addition, the Product Marketing Manager will lead our efforts in defining and executing marketing strategies to develop awareness and foster lead generation, as well as supporting sales enablement with the necessary tools and materials.


  • Serve as the Marketing team’s lead liaison on Lexia’s products to communicate product features, functionality, and enhancements
  • Serve as the Marketing team’s lead liaison on Lexia’s products to communicate product features, functionality, and enhancements
  • Manage all market-facing communication aspects of the product life-cycle process including: Launch strategy/relevant communication materials and tactics for new products, product version upgrades and migration for existing products, comprehensive sunsetting plans for products slated for retirement
  • Lead the marketing strategy for each of Lexia’s products, spanning digital marketing, public relations, advertising, and events
  • Manage an internal product marketing materials advisory board, continually soliciting and incorporating the feedback of sales reps and others in product marketing programs
  • Work collaboratively to create, refine and maintain sales enablement and support tools including: Product messaging, presentation templates/scripting, product demos and video, web content, battle cards and playbooks
  • Develop and deliver product-specific messaging training for the sales and marketing teams; provide pre-campaign channel training for national marketing initiatives; and deliver product presentations for prospects and customers as needed in the form of conference presentations, in-person training, and/or webinars
  • Devise and manage the advertising strategy to generate awareness, drive lead generation, and establish thought leadership for Lexia’s complete line of products

Experience and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in product marketing, preferably in the educational publishing or educational technology field
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Graduate degree preferred
  • Strong understanding of the purchasing processes and influencers in the K–12 market - experience with K-12 Assessment products preferred
  • Demonstrated experience creating marketing programs for large, national sales organizations; experience working with direct reps and resellers preferred
  • Established workflows, processes, and best practices to coordinate product marketing activities from conception through launch
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including experience working with multi-product portfolios
  • Analytical, resourceful, and thoughtful team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven coordination and problem-solving skills; and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
