Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with key stakeholders, the successful candidate will provide project management for a comprehensive effort to digitally publish the Ross Curriculum or Ross Learning System (RLS), early childhood through grade 12, including more than 480 units of core curriculum, over 100 elective courses, teacher professional development, benchmark assessments, and teaching and learning tools. RLS also features holistic scope-and-sequence-type visualizations of curricular components and themes represented by the Interactive Spiral (spiral.rosslearningsystem.org) and Histomaps that will be developed as interactive components. The Project Manager also supports Ross organization-wide projects for key departments.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Project Manager performs a wide range of duties, including the following:• Document project deliverables, including dependencies, milestones, and deadlines.• Monitor the progress of projects and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.• Establish a regular communication schedule to update stakeholders.• Establish reporting protocols for key stakeholders.• Work with the CFO to assure budgetary parameters are met. • Work with the CTO to ensure that technology deliverables for projects meet specifications and quality standards.• Work with the Curriculum Content Project Director and Instructional Designer to ensure cohesion in content and message. Qualifications• BA, Project Management degree or certification; master’s degree preferred.• Experience managing projects with technology deliverables preferred.• Extensive experience in large-scale, cross-industry project management.• Key skill sets including but not limited to the ability to be a proactive thinker; keen organizational skills; the ability to manage multiple individuals and tasks while adhering to a tight timeline.
