You are a highly analytical Marketing leader who has demonstrated success owning and optimizing the top of the funnel for a high growth SaaS businesses. You’re self-driven, always questioning, and biased toward iteration and experimentation. You’ve been successful driving growth through sharp analysis and effective cross-team collaboration. You have a broad understanding of top-of-funnel strategy, from content marketing to SEO to lead nurturing. You have an excellent eye for detail and the organizational skills to manage complicated projects. You enjoy managing people and coaching them to fulfill their performance. You have the desire to structure, build and optimize a growing marketing team. You want to make meaningful contributions to an organization committed to making students’ and teachers’ lives better.
In collaboration with the Senior Management team, the Sr. Director of Marketing will lead the overarching marketing and user growth strategy for Flocabulary. In this role you will manage our growing and talented Marketing team, and report to the CEO. You will relentlessly focus on growth, owning top stages of our funnel (awareness, lead gen and acquisitions) while still maintaining visibility across the funnel into the later stages (of conversion and renewal), driving demand and understanding what makes our customers successful. You will run experiments to measure and optimize user acquisition, conversion rates and other key growth metrics. You will create hypotheses, design experiments, analyze results, and deliver key insights and recommendations to the Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success and Marketing organizations. In short, you will leave no stone unturned when it comes to using sophisticated data analysis to optimize the top of Flocabulary’s funnel.
