We are in search of a dynamic, hard-working professional to join our Business Development team as an Enterprise Sales Manager to lead the development of existing and target accounts in Higher Education. This role requires a combination of sales, business and strategic skills, and will be given increasing levels of responsibility and independence based on proven performance. You will have the opportunity to be integral in defining the position and mentor future hires as the company grows.

You will be working with a team under the Director of Business Development. This is a developmental role with the opportunity for advancement through successful achievement of performance objectives.

Your specific responsibilities will include …

  • developing and maintaining relationships with new and current Higher Ed customers
  • preparing proposals for customers based on their needs
  • travelling and representing Signal Vine in-person at conferences and customer pitches
  • researching current customers and mapping organizations for opportunities to cross-sell
  • working with the Director of BD to develop and map cross-sell and upsell processes for the sales team
  • mentoring and coaching members of the sales team
  • maintaining accurate pipeline data and reporting
  • developing and defining partnership and marketing relationships with integration partners such as Ellucian, Oracle, Salesforce, Hobsons, and other CRM, SIS and LMS platforms

  • 2+ years of relevant SaaS enterprise experience within education technology sales
    • Candidates with experience working for a CRM, LMS and SIS will be given special consideration
  • existing industry relationships within higher ed
  • understanding of the higher ed space: admissions, financial aid, advising, etc.

And experience with:

  • Salesforce
  • Hubspot
  • Selling across university departments
  • Selling to Provosts and C-Level suite in higher ed
