EdSurge, the leading source for edtech news, research, events, and community, is looking for a Marketing and Partnerships Manager to increase the size of our audience, drive traffic and leads, and support revenue growth.

You’re the kind of person who:

In this job you will:

  • Design & implement a digital marketing strategy which may include SEO, Google AdWords, PPC (pay-per-click), marketing automation, coordination with Social Media Manager etc.
  • Plan, execute and analyze campaigns across multiple EdSurge products and services (comfort with Marketo is a plus!)
  • Foster and maintain existing partnerships that bring traffic to our website and various products
  • Cultivate relationships with prospective partners and collaborate across teams to design the best strategy for each partnership
  • Write and develop engaging marketing content (some design experience would be a plus)
  • Work cross-functionally with many of the teams at EdSurge including editorial, sales, jobs and events
  • Be an integral part of an ambitious, fun and close-knit team within a mission-driven start-up

What makes you a great fit for this role:

  • You have 2-3 years of professional experience in marketing and/or partnership development
  • You have experience developing and implementing digital marketing strategy in traditional and digital marketing
  • You have experience managing and enjoy owning projects from start to finish with minimal guidance for scoping and diagnosing problems, developing testing methodologies, finding creative solutions, and implementing changes
  • You enjoy relationship and network building and have experience fostering and maintaining external partnerships
  • You’re passionate about education
  • You are comfortable analyzing data, using analytics tools and making decisions based on data
  • You understand the education space and can communicate with and make informed decisions about our audience
  • You have strong written and communication skills
  • You’re able to move at a fast pace and change course when necessary!
  • You love working collaboratively with others and finding ways to solve problems
  • Content production skills a plus!
