WISE at NY: Learning Revolutions: Creating Educational Environments for Empowerment and Inclusion

New York City Sep 22 9:00 am all day

Price: $51 to $250

WISE@NY will take place on September 22, 2018 in New York City at The Altman Building as part of the Global Goals Week, a series of events taking place during the United Nations General Assembly, under the auspices of the UN Foundation.

Creative approaches, innovations and tools are rapidly evolving how, where, and from whom we learn. At the same time, not all learners are benefitting equally. There is a growing need to transcend traditional education boundaries to design rich learning environments that leave no learner behind.

To help current and future generations reach their full potential, we need alearning revolution -or rather Learning Revolutions.

The good news is that several learning revolutions are already underway, both, inside and outside the classroom. Creative innovations are emerging everywhere - from city streets to cellphones – to empower learners for future and unforeseen challenges.

WISE@NY is an opportunity for participants to take learning in their hands, explore innovative approaches and collaboratively design new learning environments that foster inclusion and opportunity.

The day-long gathering will convene more than 350 education stakeholders from around the world. Professors, CEOs, creators, innovators and thought leaders will gather around the opportunity to voice bold opinions, share solutions and to learn from peers through a series of thought-provoking and collaborative sessions.

Join WISE@NY to play your part in designing Learning Revolutions that will transform education for the benefit of all.
