Tech•Teach•Learn is the “Technology for Teaching and Learning Conference,” a two day opportunity for K-12 educators to explore effective uses of technology in education. Conference participants can register to attend one day of the conference or both days. The conference will be held at Kentucky Country Day School on June 19-20, 2014. The conference fee is $15 for one day and $25 for both days.
The Tech•Teach•Learn conference offers sessions on a variety of technologies, including Google Apps for Education, SMART Boards and SMART Notebook software, websites and apps for subject-specific curriculum, iPads, Twitter, and VoiceThread. Sessions last year included topics such as facilitating collaborative learning through technology, using technology to develop interdisciplinary projects, developing digital readers’ notebooks and e-portfolios, establishing a 1:1 laptop program, and creating a digital/paperless classroom.
The conference will have sessions for teachers of all grade levels (Pre-K through high school), all subject areas, and all technology skill levels. Sessions will also be available for school administrators and IT staff.
