New York, NY - Jun 10 1:00 pm to Jun 11, 2016 6:30 pm

Price: $51 to $250

On June 10-11, 2016, Schools That Can will join forces with NYU's School of Professional Studies to host a National Forum on "Re-Imagining The Education Pathway."

The objective of the Forum is to raise awareness of the opportunity and skills gap, attract respected experts and thought leaders to discuss solutions, and to celebrate progress through panels and workshops that highlight innovative strategies on how to re-imagine the education pathway. This timely discourse will leave us all thinking about how we fit into this critical transition.

The agenda for Saturday, June 11 will include morning sessions facilitated by Schools That Can focused on K-12’s role within the pathway, followed by afternoon sessions led by NYU-SPS highlighting higher education’s role. The day will also feature STC’s 3rd Annual Robert F. Kennedy Urban Education Awards Luncheon, presented in partnership with Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights. The day will conclude with a cocktail reception hosted by NYU-SPS.

Specific session topics include:

  • Re-Imagining the Education Pathway
  • Defining "Readiness" for K12
  • Transforming Your School Using Deeper Learning Principles
