This free symposium series brings together nationally-recognized visionaries to discuss the ways in which schools can and must foster the creativity and innovation essential to our students’ global competence in a changing world. This evening will feature Chicago’s own Dr. Nichole Pinkard along with Trung Le, AIA.

Each a groundbreaking critical thinker in the new education landscape, Pinkard and Le will discuss the pressing need to help our children unleash the massive potential of the digital age within optimal learning environments. Dr. Pinkard is the founder of Digital Youth Network and RemixLearning, two organizations focused on developing digital literacies as tools for extending traditional literacies. Mr. Le is an award-winning designer of learning spaces in the U.S. and contributing collaborator in the development of the recent book, The Third Teacher: 79 Ways You Can Use Design to Transform Teaching and Learning.
