Instructor Dan Gertrudes, CEO and Managing Director, GrowthLab Dan has over 15 years of experience in business strategy, corporate development, finance, and business development in multiple industries including Fortune 500 firms, middle market companies and startups. He became an entrepreneur after leaving corporate behind in 2012 and has been a founder and on the founding team of service-based companies, financial services firm, and most recently a consumer and healthcare company. He is also an investor and adviser to a growing portfolio of emerging growth companies. Through GrowthLab, Dan is a financial partner and adviser to early and growth stage companies and can usually be seen in front of a white board. He enjoys working with founders and entrepreneurs with business and financial modeling and developing investor materials and communications, while overseeing the team’s finances. He also works with companies and stakeholders in restructuring situations.
