Developing Responsible, Caring, and Balanced Youth

Dedham, MA - Mar 8 to Mar 10, 2013

How do we prepare youth to be good persons, good workers, and good citizens in a rapidly changing, highly competitive, and increasingly digital world? This three-day conference will tackle the non-curricula side of schooling children to be productive members of society, touching upon topics like parenting and mentoring, ethics, civil discourse and engagement, and digital citizenship. In addition to Howard Gardner (Project Zero), featured speakers will include Ron Berger (Expeditionary Learning), William Damon (Stanford University), John Palfrey (Berkman Center & Phillips Andover Academy), Rick Weissbourd (Harvard Graduate School of Education), and educators from Common Sense Media. Organized by Project Zero, a research group at Harvard University's Graduate School of Education.
