Online Mar 16 10:00 am to Mar 24, 2019 5:00 pm - Eastern Time (US & Canada)

Price: $51 to $250

Bootcamp Prep in a Week is for any student who's interested in applying to any of Fullstack Academy's prestigious immersive programs -- such as the Software Engineering Immersive or the Grace Hopper Program -- and desires to acquire the programming skills needed to pass the coding assessment and technical interview.

This one-week, intensive course starts with two full days of weekend learning, continues Monday through Thursday evenings, and concludes with another two full days of weekend learning. It's our entire Bootcamp Prep curriculum condensed into a single week.

What is the Admissions Process like for Bootcamp Prep?

There is a light admissions process for Bootcamp Prep. Although it's designed for beginners, the curriculum starts with the assumption that students have basic familiarity with JavaScript syntax, which allows the class to move at a good pace and yield quality outcomes for students. There are about 10 hours of required pre-work to work through before the class starts, to make sure you're prepared to succeed on Day 1. Once you've finished the pre-work, we ask you to take the JavaScript Review to confirm your newly acquired skills!

Here's what the admissions process looks like:

1) When you sign up for Bootcamp Prep, you'll answer several short, admissions-related questions.

2) You'll be given immediate access to the Bootcamp Prep Pre-Work, which consists of about 10 hours of material meant to prepare you for the first day of class.

3) Once you've finished the pre-work, you're invited to take a short coding assessment. The assessment has “easy” level questions on topics like Strings, Arrays, and Loops.

4) After you take the assessment, we'll get back to you in a few days to let you know the outcome.

5) If you pass the test and are accepted, your spot in Bootcamp Prep will be confirmed and you’ll be ready to start class on Day 1 of your selected cohort.

6) If you don't pass the test, you will have the option to defer to the next Bootcamp Prep cohort (free of charge), so you have a chance to study some more and take the test again, or to receive a full refund of your course fee.
