Silicon Valley Education Foundation and its Learning Innovation Hub (iHub), is once again hosting Pitch Games. This annual event allows innovative edtech startups pitch their products to the education community. A panel composed of Silicon Valley business and education leaders selects the most promising companies to “match and connect” these early-stage companies to the iHub network of educators. The audience will also get to participate by voting for a crowd favorite. There will be plenty of time to mingle with the edtech community as well as the companies that are pitching.
Companies that will be pitching include:
- Sown To Grow
- Learning BitsGreen Ninja
- Makers Empire
About Silicon Valley Education Foundation and the Learning Innovation Hub (iHub)
Silicon Valley Education Foundation (SVEF) was founded on the belief that a new kind of organization is needed – one with a different philosophy and approach to the challenges in legacy systems. A nonprofit resource and advocate for students and educators, SVEF is dedicated to putting all students on track for college and careers, focusing on the critical areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
The Learning Innovation Hub (iHub) at SVEF connects Education Technology (EdTech) entrepreneurs, educators, and researchers to facilitate collaboration and product feedback for optimal decisions to integrate technology tools and solutions for our classrooms.
Our work includes connecting EdTech with Silicon Valley classrooms through iHub pilot programs for evaluation. Student and teacher feedback allows these entrepreneurs to further improve their products as it best-fit teaching and learning needs.
