Experienced SAT or ACT Tutor

Swell Education Group - San Francisco, CA - Part time

Swell Education is a boutique test prep company offering test prep and academic tutoring to Bay Area high school students. We have a small team of amazing tutors and are looking to expand our team to help our students reach their goals.

We have immediate needs for SAT/ACT tutors in SF and Marin, and are always looking for outstanding candidates throughout the Bay Area. The right candidate will have substantial SAT or ACT expertise, charisma, and smarts, and be comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy.

Commitment is through the end of the school year, ideally beyond. Most meetings take place on weekends or evenings, and there is a high likelihood of being able to stack sessions if desired. Our students are nice, motivated, and truly a pleasure to tutor.

Tutoring for Swell is a fun, flexible part-time gig. Tutors set their own schedules and can work 3-20 hours a week, depending on desired workload, subjects tutored, and availability. Our services are in high demand, and typically we are able to optimize commitments for each tutor within a few months.

This is an independent contractor position; those who are already private tutors are welcome to apply.

Requirements:

--test prep experience

--degree from top college

--commitment to great results

--positive, can-do attitude

If interested, please send cover letter and resume. Be sure to include details about:

--relevant test prep teaching or tutoring experience

--desired hours per week

--general availability (weekends, weeknights, or both)

--desired commitment (through June 2017, or longer-term)

--areas of interest for tutoring (SF, Marin, South Bay)
